Job Description: Design and execute an enterprise-wide GEO/SEO content roadmap Identify high-impact content creation and refresh opportunities aligned with Cisco’s business objectives Write high-quality content and manage a pool of writers Provide writer training and support to influence stakeholders across the organization Use keyword research, audience data, and competitor analysis to develop search-first content plans mapped to buyer journeys Build and manage an AI-assisted content optimization pipeline with the Operations & Intelligence team Establish human-in-the-loop workflows to maintain accuracy, tone, and E-E-A-T standards Inform dashboard development tracking rankings, impressions, AI mentions/citations, traffic, and conversion Translate organic search insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership Analyze the competitive landscape and identify gaps in topical authority Recommend content strategy pivots to maintain Cisco’s dominance in key technology domains Check page-level elements including Meta Robots, Canonical tags, and Schema Markup Partner with brand, integrated marketing, web marketing, and product marketing Act as Cisco’s internal expert on how LLMs ingest and prioritize enterprise information Requirements: 2 years of hands-on experience creating GEO/AEO content 8 years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or organic growth Experience preferably within a complex B2B or technology environment Deep understanding of E-E-A-T principles and their application to technology content Proficiency with enterprise SEO platforms such as BrightEdge and Screaming Frog Experience using GEO/AEO platforms such as Profound, AthenaHQ, or Scrunch AI Strong analytical skills Ability to communicate complex search trends to executive stakeholders Passion for AI Experience with LLM-based workflows for content production Understanding of how bots crawl and extract content Knowledge of Meta Robots, Canonical tags, and Schema Markup Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution Paid parental leave Short- and long-term disability coverage Basic life insurance Cisco restricted stock unit grants may be available 10 paid holidays per full calendar year 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday Paid year-end holiday shutdown 4 paid days off for personal wellness 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year for non-exempt employees Flexible vacation time off program with no defined limit for eligible exempt employees 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter Up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward Additional paid time away for critical or emergency family issues Optional 10 paid volunteer days per full calendar year Annual bonuses may be available for non-sales roles Sales employees may earn performance-based incentive pay
